From the four songs I've heard from his Curtis album, they're no where close to bringing back all the fans he's lost after The Massacre. I've heard Straight to the Bank, Amusement Park, Fully Loaded Clip, and She Wants It.
Amusement Park - The only people who would listen to this outside of a dance club are women who are into fitty or people with bad taste in rap. Another clubby poppy song from the "gangsta who got shot 9 times"
Straight to the Bank - I like this song, but I realized it's just another decent song and isn't anything speical that we havn't heard from him before. It's a step in the right direction, but if this is the best he can do then he is really in trouble.
She Wants It - If theres any song that will give him a chance at coming back, this would be it. Hardcore rap fans won't like it, but oh well. It is produced by Timbaland and has his sound which is really hot right now. Justin Timberlake is also featured here. This song has a great flow and just turned out really good.
Fully Loaded Clip - Nothing new, sounds just like every other gangsta song on The Massacre, and people hated that album.
So unless he has some sleeper tracks on his album, this album will put the nail in his coffin. And I am in no way a 50 Cent hater, until a couple months ago he was my favorite rapper and I want him to do good
P.S. - Count how many times he says me, my, mine, I, I'll, I'm in his songs! It's kinda funny, every single line he talks about himself in almost every song!!!
